My Journey to Today

My journey in the hospitality industry began in an unexpected place—a year abroad in Japan. Immersing myself in Japanese culture and language taught me invaluable lessons in communication and adaptability. The following year, I helped Japanese students adjust to life at Oklahoma State University, a role that deepened my appreciation for cross-cultural connection.After my time in Japan, I taught English for a year, fueling my passion for helping others. I then embarked on a global adventure, exploring new places and trying my hand at entrepreneurship. Although many of my ventures didn’t stick, they each offered unique learning experiences that ultimately led me to where I truly belong: hospitality.Returning home, I stepped into the world of hospitality and felt an immediate sense of purpose. Working across various departments, I gained firsthand experience in everything from guest services to operations, giving me a comprehensive understanding of how to enhance a guest’s stay. With an international perspective and a strong foundation in the field, I’m now dedicated to helping small hotels and resorts increase their revenue and improve their online presence.
